Anwar Azad, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Anwar Islam Azad (known as Anwar Azad) has lived in Canada from 1988 and works as a Team Leader at Fiat Chrysler Automobile Inc. (FCA), a leading Italian-American Car Manufacturing Company from 1988. He is a graduate of the Department of Geography at University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1985. Before migrating to Canada he worked at Netherlands Pharmaceutical Company Organon Bangladesh Ltd. Anwar Azad was actively involved in film at that time and founded a video club named “Civic Point Video Society” at Gulshan -1 DMC market. After coming to Canada, he has been involved in many Bangladeshi activities in Toronto with various social and cultural organizations and held different positions with various organizations over the last 30 years. He is also a Member of Bangladesh Film Producers Distributors Association ( বাংলাদেশ চলচ্চিত্র প্রযোজক পরিবেশক সমিতি) and Director of the Executive Committee of Canada Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce. His another big identity is IFFSA TORONTO involvement. He is heavily involved in IFFSA TORONTO (International FIlm Festival Of South Asia) as the “Director of Bengali Affairs” in the International Film Festival Group and coordinates all film related involvement from Bangladesh and Kolkata for the Film Festival. His main goal is to promote Bangladeshi Films to the International market and at the Film Festivals. He has also started producing films through “Canadian Media Entertainment Inc.” and “Anwar Azad Films”
Furthermore he has been elected as a Director for of the Peel Multicultural Council for three years, is a settlement service provider for newcomers to Canada funded by Canadian Government.
He is also involved with the Liberal Party of Canada.
Yazmin Islam, Chief Operating Officer
Yazmin Islam is a graduate of the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Canada, having specialized in Marketing and Management. She has also studied at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany and has completed a Certificate in Public Relations at Ryerson University. After her studies, Yazmin pursued a career in Publishing, working in the Toronto office of John Wiley and Sons Canada. After a few years at Wiley, she moved on to work at the head office of ZoomerMedia Inc, a Canadian media company that owns various television channels, radio stations and the nationally distributed Zoomer Magazine. While at ZoomerMedia, she worked in advertising operations, collaborating with different departments to facilitate the selling of ad space across the various media channels. After her time at ZoomerMedia, Yazmin decided to take a career break and spend fifteen months travelling throughout South America, Africa, Asia and Australia. She visited 24 countries during this trip, with a focus on exploring and learning about the unique history and culture of each country. After completing her trip around the world, Yazmin was offered a Marketing position with the Australian office of John Wiley and Sons. Yazmin re-located from Toronto to Melbourne in November 2015 and is still currently working for Wiley Australia. In her role, she manages the conferences and events as well as product marketing for the Higher Education and Schools (Jacaranda) divisions. An avid supporter of the local arts community in Toronto and now Melbourne, Yazmin has always had a strong interest in theatre and film. While living in Toronto, she was regularly involved in third-party marketing around the Toronto International Film Festival. Keen to support the local and international film community, Yazmin is always looking for new projects and streams to support the promotion of independent films to a larger audience.
Aziz Haque, Creative Director & Canada Coordinator
Writer / Director started his career as a Painter and a cartoonist from his early child hood. In addition to Film Diploma he has Computer Science Degree from Brock University, Canada and Engineering Degree from BUET ( Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology). After receiving Diploma in Filming, many of his written dramas become very popular in TV Channels in Canada and abroad like ATN and CHANNEL I. Always in his direction combines with dramatic and aesthetic elements. His directed popular Short Films are Flash, Money, Diya, Blue Rain, Deeda, Nirjone Dujon, One day and Jibon are very popular in Greater Toronto Area (GTA) audience. Many of them were screened in International Film Festivals like IFFSA and TIFF.

Ireen Tani is a Dhaka Based Actress. She plays so many characters in TV, Cinema and Theaters. She Started her Acting Career with “Theatre Workshop Chittagong”. Some of her Drama Serial are Red Signal, Long March, Ful R Kata,Tin Pagoler Hole Mela,Cinema Hall etc. SIngle Drama are Mudra Dosh, Bijon Kunjo, Sotto etc. Feature Films are Bidrohi Padma, Lobon, Chokh, Loanee etc.
Kazi Raju, Director of Marketing[South Asia]
Kazi Safikul Islam Raju known as Kazi Raju is a Dhaka based Film and TV Media Actor, Writer and organizer. Born and raised in Khulna and started his Acting Career during his high school days with Khulna’s local Theatre Group “Bionmoni Theatre”. Now he is also acting with Theatre Group “Theatre Centre’ at Dhaka. He plays so many characters in TV, Cinema and Theaters. Some of his Feature Films are Alta Banu, Mukh O Mukosh, Gontobbyo, Common Gender, Akash Koko Dure, Horijupia etc. Some of his TV Fiction are Valobashar Rang, Chaya Bibi, Ami Tumi Se, Baundule etc.
